BreedSmart Workspace · Plans & credits

Credits that fit the way you use BreedSmart.

We are shaping our plans with feedback from breeders and owners. Explore the proposed credit tiers and tell us what would work for your operation.

Proposed structure · Subject to feedback

Four credit tiers

Choose the level of access that fits your needs. Prices, allowance renewal periods and final terms will be announced after we gather feedback.

100 credits

100

A starting allowance for focused breeding and yearling decisions.

200 credits

200

More room to evaluate a larger mare portfolio or yearling shortlist.

500 credits

500

A larger allowance for operations with frequent assessment needs.

Unlimited

Unlimited

For users who need assessments without a fixed credit allowance.

Credits would sit in your account for eligible assessments. We are also considering extra-credit purchases for Pro members and direct payment for free-account users.

How credits would work

These are proposed credit costs, rather than final pricing. They may change based on your feedback.

Proposed · 5 credits

Mare-specific fair-fee assessments

Use 5 credits to unlock a specific mare. You can then run any number of fair-fee assessments for that mare, comparing stallions and changing costs, quoted fees, assessments and available breeding goals.

Repeated fair-fee assessments for the same unlocked mare would not use additional credits. The access period will be defined with the final plan terms.

Proposed · 10 credits

Yearling price assessment

Use 10 credits for a yearling price assessment based on sire, dam and sex. Explore the estimated sale-price distribution and its range of possible prices.

The treatment of repeat assessments will be defined with the final plan terms.

For example, under this proposal, 100 credits could cover 20 mare unlocks, 10 yearling price assessments, or 10 mare unlocks plus 5 yearling price assessments.

Frequently asked questions

Are these plans and credit costs final?

No. The 100, 200, 500 and unlimited credit tiers, and the proposed assessment costs, are being shared for feedback. Prices and final terms have not been announced.

What would 5 credits cover for a mare?

They would unlock one specific mare for mare-specific fair-fee assessments. You could run any number of those assessments for that mare without paying another 5 credits for each calculation.

Would changing stallions or costs use more mare credits?

No. Under the proposed structure, the unlock follows the mare. Changing comparison stallions, quoted fees, costs, assessments or the available breeding goal would not consume additional credits for that unlocked mare.

What would a yearling price assessment cost?

The proposed cost is 10 credits per yearling price assessment. This covers the pedigree-based price assessment using sire, dam and sex. Final rules for repeat assessments will be announced with the plan terms.

Can I mix mare and yearling assessments?

Yes. The proposed credit balance could be used across eligible assessments. For example, 100 credits could cover 10 mare unlocks at 5 credits each and 5 yearling price assessments at 10 credits each.

Would I be able to buy extra credits?

We are considering top-up credit purchases for Pro members. Free-account users would have the option to pay directly for eligible assessments. Prices and purchase arrangements are still being developed.

Would credits renew monthly or annually, or expire?

The allowance renewal period, credit expiry rules and duration of mare access have not yet been finalized. These terms will be stated before plans become available for purchase.

Would monthly payment be available?

We are considering annual subscriptions with an option to pay in monthly instalments. The final commitment and payment terms will be confirmed with pricing.

What would Unlimited include?

The proposed Unlimited tier would remove the fixed credit allowance for eligible assessments. Its final scope and terms will be defined after feedback.

What does market assessment mean?

It expresses the price you expect the market to pay relative to the pedigree’s predicted price distribution. A score of 10 represents an estimate above that pedigree’s 99th percentile. A less expensive yearling can score 10 if it is exceptional relative to expectations for its pedigree.

Does BreedSmart guarantee racing success or a sale price?

No. Results describe estimated probabilities and price distributions based on historical data and your inputs. Use them alongside your inspection, veterinary advice and knowledge of the market.
